West Star Interiors, Inc. (WSI) started in 1990 and was formed by Charles Drawdy and David Stratton. Mr. Drawdy brought his years of field expertise to the company and Mr. Stratton brought his years of business and financial experience. Together, they formed WSI and had the foresight to predict a need for a motivated, quality oriented CFMF, Drywall, Stucco, EIFS company in the Tampa area.
A great loss was suffered with the passing of David Stratton, but Mr. Drawdy decided to continue their dream and vision and WSI perservered.
In 1999, Shana Wesley joined the West Star team and has continued to play a pivotal role in the successful management of finances and office operations. In 2004, Robert Shortt, after 14 years of dedicated service to WSI in the field, came into the office and assisted with project management and estimating. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Drawdy promoted Shortt to Vice President of Operations and with the direction of Mr. Drawdy, WSI continuted on the with the founding partners dreams and vision and is continuing to move forward and take on the future.
WSI demonstrates a committment to their customers and employees and provides a "Family Atmosphere Work Environment" which is demonstrated by long term committment of employees, including both operations, superintendents and field employees.
WSI has seen economic good times and recent downturn, but is here to continue moving forward in the same manner Mr. Drawdy had envisioned for WSI.
